Cave de La Côte
Chasselas
While this may in fact be the first Swiss wine I've tasted, I know the varietal has been part of our local Okanagan wine scene for some time. I find that the particular bottle lacks the punch or brightness that I long for while tasting it... In particular, the finish is very short, but that said, this aromatic wine does provide a pleasant bouquet of ripe pear on the nose and a minerality on the palate that would prove popular on a patio in the summer. It seems simple ad effervescent to me.

Well-balanced with nice acidity and hints of white fruit & pineapple. All in all, a beautifully aromatic & versatile wine that is more elegant than its price point and ready for almost any wine occasion. Cheers🇨🇭🍷
