Bright clear ruby garnet. Dirty black cherry on the nose and medium-bodied palate. Medium plus acidity. Medium tannins. Solid budget Chianti. Great with pizza, pasta, or grilled meats. Drink now.

Pretty dry and pears best with food. Not as pleasing drunk solo, but a pretty decent standard chianti.

Fruity on the nose, bitter on the tongue. Not the best Chianti.

Drank 1/18/20.

Bright red cherry, and a bit of earth and leather scents dominate. Palate of red and black cherry, with some light earth notes are pleasant, yet simple. Medium tannins and finish. A versatile style that could pair with a wide range of foods.

Rich brick red color. After 10 minutes of breathing it was still quite astringent and tannin-forward, but once 30 minutes or so had passed it was a lot more mellow and smooth. Minerals, black pepper, and some subtle plum are what I tasted. Decent for the price but I’d like to try some other Chianti’s before returning to this one.
