Bright and clear ruby garnet. Nose of black cherry and violets. Medium full bodied palate echoes the nose adding a bit of licorice and leather mid palate to finish. Medium acidity. Low tannins. A Nebbiolo to drink now while waiting for the Barolo and Barbaresco to settle. Drink now through 2023. They should be ready by then.

Strong alcoholic flavor. Needs to be decanted way in advance so once the alcohol wears off, somewhat enjoy its aromas and taste.

Was excited to try this 21 langhe Nebbiolo from marchesi de Barolo. Not bad but doesn’t quite have the nice fruit, dried flower, and tannin/acid profile of other 21s I’ve had. Nice on the nose though.
