More balanced than the stereotypical Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, this has pleasant tropical fruit, good but not overbearing acidity and a pleasantly clean finish. I like that there is no acrid citrus peel quality, just nice crisp fruit.

Clear, pale lemon colour. Clean, pronounced aromas of gooseberry and tropical fruits. Palate is dry with high acidity. Light bodied with zingy, ripe passionfruit and citrus flavours. Short finish. A very good quality wine.

Surprisingly great wine for the money. Citrus note somewhere between lemon and grapefruit, perhaps a pomelo. Hints of grassy notes as well. Nice acidic palate.
