I am a fan of granacha (my favorite wine being borsao). It's a very good garnacha. It's great in the late winter and early spring when it's still too cold for a fruity or cooling wine, but the season for big cabs and other full wines is thankfully behind you! Slightly fruity, deep, and warming (as a type in June from the northeast where it is rainy and about 50°)

1 person found it helpfulJun 7th, 2017Ruby violet hue, quite opaque in the center. 2009 vintage. aromas of dried strawberry, clove, and fig (expecting more berries to this region of Spain). Medium plus tannin, very fruity, spicy towards the end. A good Grenache for the money but I was expecting it to be a tad more complex.
