This is the sauvegionese that I purchased in Tuscany. After opening it still needed airing. For almost 30 mins before the up front tannins went away. Decanting and further sitting the wine opens up to reveal hints of complexity with hints of blackberry and tinniest bit of liqource. Tannins still a little detectable.

Beautiful wine. Big and bold but also elegant and refined. Vintage drinks great right now, and could probably even last a couple more years. Wonderful finish, perfect for an anniversary wine :)
