So sexy and approachable now that I wonder if it's built for the long haul, but when it offers so much enjoyment up front I don't really care. Lovely youthful colour, quite transparent; on the nose there's both ok and excellent typicity - that elusive nebb fragrance hinting at flowers and cherries. The tannins and soft and the wine is loosely knit, not at all aggressive as some Young barbaresco can be, and a hint of sweetness that delights. True to type and drinking beautifully. I think this is regularly $65 but they marked it down around $50 and I pounced. Buy all you can kind of wine.
