Initially rather alcoholic on the nose, clearly from a hot vintage. Opened at 8:30AM, then decanted for 3 hours ahead of dinner. Evolved considerably over the course of the evening, steadily gaining elegance, balance, and length with air. This was good tonight, but will be great in ten years or so. Great potential here.
