Castello di Amorosa 2013 merlot. Big jammy merlot! I am not a real merlot fan, but this is about as good as it gets. Heavy bottle! 14.8%. Strawberry rhubarb pie on the nose. The initial pallet is loaded with blackBerries raspberries, cherries, and boysenberry. The fill is very rich in the mouth. A full body wine. The finish is very short and Jammy. Hints of chocolate and butter. Maybe a hint of honey and oak at the end. No spice. No lingering sour anything. Moderately dry. Yeah, well it’s a perfect Merlot.

A good fading red color, raspberry, cherry, eucalyptus and dirt. Very nice balanced flavors with a fruity/herbal finish.

Smoky oak and deep red fruit aromas. Rich body and bold in flavors. Can taste balanced oak notes with rich cherry. Medium to long finish.

Smooth finish great initial scent and smooth warm greeting would be great with any cheese or meat enough oak for light spicy foods
