2010 vintage. Deep opaque garnet color, full bodied. Black cherry, plum, currant, spice, leather, smoke notes. Balanced tannin, long finish.

Valentine's day wine! Castello di Amarosa IL Barone 2010

Beautiful wine. Deep, dark fruit nose. Full smooth mouth feel; dark cherry, anise, and chocolate, nice finish. Very drinkable now, good for years to come.

Intense appearance, with intense aromas of savoury and cigar box. A full-bodied red with savoury, berry and black pepper flavours. The finish is complex. The finish lingers with hints of slightly tart blackberry. An overall excellent Cabernet Sauvignon.
