Blend of Sangiovese (90%) and Merlot (10%) Deep red color with a few purple highlights. Aromas of red and black fruit, orange zest and savory herbs. Flavors of sour cherries, strawberries, black olives, milk chocolate and sage. Note of burnt caramel Noticeable oak on the medium finish. A bit restrained and tight. Medium bodied and reasonable acidity. The Merlot really shows through with aeration. Reasonable. Thanks for sharing, Chris B.

90/10 Sangiovese/Merlot. Not exactly a “Super Tuscan.” Big dark cherry/berry fruit with a note of chocolate on the finish. Long finish. Good basic pasta/pizza wine.

Interesting. Very fruity on the nose and at first but not sweet. Then you are hit with alot of sour plum and Blackberry maybe some cherries too. The aftertaste is unfortunately a bit bitter and a little to acidic. Had it with a pasta sauce. Reminds me a lot of a box wine I had this summer at home called amicone
