Very enjoyable with multiple berries, longer finish. More forward fruit and less spice than a usual shiraz. Excellent with Tuscan pork chops. Glad to own another.

The title refers to “Beyond the black stump” which is basically the outback in Australia. Back of beyond. This has a nice combination of plum with a hint of chocolate, a bit of an earthy taste with a smooth finish. Enjoyed it!

It does have a flat taste to it. It isn't bitty. Not sure how I feel about it. It would be good with a rich acidic pasta sauce.
