Cascina Marcantonio Barbera d'Asti from Acqui Terme. My friend Guido made this wine at his Agritourismo. Although it has some ethyl-acetate notes on the nose early, it opens up to dark fruit, M+ acidity and M- tannins in a nice balanced package.
