Really a lovely barbaresco especially with some air and a slight chill. In a prime window - some of the strong primary notes have faded somewhat, but there is still a ton of freshness, acid, and tannin here to keep things alive. Lots of complex red fruit aromas. One of those wines you could just keep smelling. Palate delivers the same way. Really nice.

Aug 30th, 2025Last had 2 years ago and that bottle was probably off. But this still is below expectations. Lovely aromatic nose - but the palate is exceedingly thin and I would have guessed it’s much older than 10 years. Some disjointed tannins. Hmmm. Have a few bottles left - maybe wait several more years and take a flyer.

Very tasty, elegant, floral, refined tannin. Still a little young- could hold this vintage longer.
