This wine has a very light ruby color, just a little darker than a rosato. The nose sports aromas of sour cherry, raspberry, and a little vegetal funk. The palate rides a bit on the tart side, showing red fruit and a savory streak of minerality. The tannins are so tame they are almost unnoticeable. Pair this with a rustic tomato sauce pasta, or with a cheese plate. The wine takes a chill nicely, if you need.

Drunk last night with pizza at @OsteriaViaStato. Light to medium bodied with dark fruit, spice, & smoke. Very nice!
