Plum, cherry. Great forward with plenty of acidity, balance, and body.

Barbera should be more lively than this.

Barbera is our new go to. This does not disappoint.

Smooth, velvety, and a certain amount of unctuousness without any residuals. Cranberry and strawberry without the sharpness, sourness, or sweetness, great balance. Smoky leathery tobacco on the finish.

Good bit of cranberry and strawberry up front. Lively, persistent acidity. Straightforward and fruit forward Barbera. Not half bad with a bowl of momma's meatballs.

Bite of cranberry on the front if not left to open up for a good amount of time—acidity can be bracing at first but it mellows and leaves a pleasant cherry/red currant finish. Medium tannins.

Old world Barbera. Lighter, a little earthy, blackberry notes, but not overly jammy. 2012
