Not bad. Not great.

Elegant. Earthy dark@roses on the nose. well balanced acidity and tannins. Dark fruits, clove, mild leather minerals and undergrowth on the palate. Complex layers without being dense. Lingering soft finish. This is day 3 tasting note. Day 1 had slightly more tannins but was quite approachable within an hour of opening. Perfect for a cool autumn day/evening.

Single Vineyard Barolo. Deep ruby color. Intense (and lovely) aromas of oak with hints of dark cherry, violets and earth. Dark and red cherry fruit and black raspberry on the pallet with touches of mineral, leather and cloves. Ever present oak and dusty tannins on the long finish. Medium-plus acidity and excellent balance. Equally muscular and elegant. Thank You John P! Christmas 2022.

Will be good, but not ready yet, my fault.

Nice but either is dormant or just didn’t have it. 2013 vintage. Tanins were light.

Woody earthy and still young. Needs time to breathe.

Solid wine, not blown away but good none the less.

Earthy but sweet. I like it

Great today, going to age beautifully, will hold the other 5 bottles for 2-4 yrs
