Casasmith
Northridge Vineyard Cervo Barbera
Wahluke Slope, Columbia Valley, Oregon/Washington, USAOverly sweet red fruit on nose. Almost frosting. Palate is dry and doesn’t make sense with awkward fruity and medicinal notes. Short finish. #casasmith #barbera #washington #ctbucklinwine

A vanilla bomb. Well made just not to my personal liking.

Nov 8th, 2017Typical Barbera characteristics. Nice fruit up front. Subtle finish. Easy to drink (without being underwhelming).

Aug 13th, 2017Nose is woodsy and baking spices. Entry is far forward on the palate. Slightly earthy to go along with raspberry and blackberry notes. Maybe a touch of cedar. Finish is long, as one would expect of Barbera.
Good "weeknight wine", pairing very well with Italian flavors of tomato, garlic, onion, and oregano. Nice pizza/pasta wine.
