More of a purpleish hue than most Carménère. More funky on the nose than most Carménère, with alternate plum aromas. Very dark an interesting presence, showing full body, medium structure of sweet tannins, surrounded by plum pulp, red currant, and some dark cherry. This wine is quite chewy. Finishes fairly long, still showing it's young structure, voluptuosity, and dark plum and sweet tobacco flavors. All in all, 89 pts.
