Soft red color, very saturated but translucent.
Woodsy and mineral-y on the nose, with a discernably Italian vibe immediately.
Earthy notes continue on the palate, with structure. Not as much of a 'round' or rich mouth feeling, but has a pleasantly long finish. Sort of reminiscent of sangiovese. The 12.5% abv is deceptively low for the flavors offered here.
The spice this has sets it apart from other juicier pinot noirs, as it hugs the back of the tongue.
