Tart, almost sour on nose at first. Opened nicely in the glass. Full Zin fruit, but cooked, not overly ripe, and rustic tannins.(unfiltered) Loved this full flavored wine.

Told the oenophobe boyfriend to grab a bottle of Primitivo. Not wanting to disappoint the oenophile girlfriend, he came home with this and I could tell from the second I opened it, it would have a beautiful spice and finish. Boy did it. Yum yum yum. We had it with a honey-glaze roast chicken and it was utterly seductive!
