Four Portuguese varietal field blend. Medium ruby color with a slight brick rim. Aromas of jammy red and black berries, vanilla and oak. Leaning more toward cooked and dried black fruit (prunes) on the palate with hints of dark chocolate and baking spices. Long finish. Tastes a bit like a dry Port as the fruit is very pronounced. Medium bodied, fine tannins and not overly complex. Thanks for sharing, Ron B!
