Another solid vintage of this four grape (30% Touriga Franca, 30% Trincadeira, 25% Syrah, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon) Red. I like the fact that the blend includes both native Portuguese grapes and a few French varietals. Aromas of Ripe red fruit, plums and baking spices. Red berry, dark chocolate and vanilla flavors. Only 4 months in oak barriques, so tannins are light and bright fruit shows through. Touch of tartness on the long finish. Well balanced and nicely structured.
