Was a great experience for a Mexican wine in Mexico City. Wow, not what I expected. Great nose, with a very purple-black color. Excellent ripe fruits and a good last. Wish I could get this in the states.

Made from the oldest winery in the Americas, this wine is surprisingly light to medium bodied, with beautiful ripe fruit and distinguished tannins. A must try. Btw this is from the same region as where my family is from. ❤️

Aug 15th, 2018Really enjoying this wine. Cut pine logs, cherry and dry spices on the nose. Full bodied but somewhat silky; it embraces the mid pallet quite well. Very shot finish however...
