Still holding strong and firm after 22 years. Bordeaux blend, heavy on carmenere with merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Gorgeous primary and secondary flavors are supple, deep, shows very strong. Pair this beast with something mouthwatering.

Wow! This 2000 was delightful with a mix of Cabernet, Carmenere and Merlot. Stunning wine with lots of fruit, coconut, chocolate and spice.

Lovely wine that came as a surprise- brought wrapped from a cellar and was expecting somewhat different (a Chateau L'if). Sommelier says this was the worst cork he ever extracted. Luckily he saved it. Lots of sediment as it is not a fined- which is part of the charm. Was expecting it to still have some tightness, but was easy not long after decanting. 45 min later it was already nicely opened. Heavy staining for a surprisingly lighter body than what you'd expect. I'd liken it to a summer velvet vs a heavy winter velvet. (This is NOT on the restaurant's list- we brought it and paid corkage)
