For a Carmenère I think it's kind of spicy. It's full bodied with a nice deep red color though. Would be nice with a charcuterie board!

Just ripen bell pepper on the nose, to the point that it overwhelms my nose and palate and I'm not overly happy about that. I like my carmeneres to be more of the typicity found in carmenere, red blue and black fruits and not as much black pepper. It's inoffensive but not that great.

All the comments I read about why this wine isn’t great is why I liked it. Pepper and funk but soft and silky as well. Carmenere remains the best.

At five years of age, this 2012 Carmenere is a lovely sipping wine. Dark cherry and chocolate, soft tannins and good length. Not too complex, but certainly easy drinking.

Not what I expected - too strange of a taste

Just okay. Decent flavor but nothing special.

Massive flavor. Way more complex than a similarly priced cab.
