Budget deluxe. Portugal has this category on lock. Did a flight with super market wines (e.g., Dark Horse, Apothic Dark and Red) and this wasn’t even in the same category. Shows balance with well integrated tannins. The palate and nose showcases REAL fruit. Oak is established but stays connected. Blows away a lot near this price point. Cheers!

Was pleasantly surprised by this bottle. It was one those last minute “I want something from Portugal” picks from the grocery store. It was chalky, dry, berries all the way and had a hearty finish to it.
