A medium bodied red with a little more fruit than you’d expect. Moderate tannins and dryness. A decent finish, but not overwhelming. It went perfectly with the Portuguese style lamb shank I paired it with while in Praia Rocha Portugal with good friends the Noce’s. They had filet mignon which also worked well.

Oct 17th, 2019The nose is not really wellcoming : red currant, pine, garrigue, diesel (?), olive. A bit too much. The palate, on the other hand is really smooth and easy going. A soft touch all along. A fine acid backbone and some nice red fruit all along. Very soft touch on the palate almost velvety. Long finish with red and black currant for a very nice tasting experience. Could have had a higher note the nose had been better.
