Riserva Biferno Montepulciano

This darkly colored wine has a nose of earthy cocoa and plum with hints of smoke and dried figs. The nose is beautiful perhaps even exhibiting hints of rose petals. Soft and velvety on the palate with medium to high tannins and acid, but very nicely balanced. The wine is not quite as big as the nose would indicate, but delicious.

Rich ripe red fruit, great bang for the buck!!

For under $12/bottle, this is a very drinkable table wine. Very light with a soft finish.

Nice 2011 puglia vintage. Standard dark cherry fruit with leathery palette. Soft tannins made it feel light in texture. Super drinkable. Finished bottle by myself.

Drink with red sauces. Good price point. Under 13 bucks
