Chianti Sangiovese

Light to medium body with bright cherry and currant. Opens decent, might need some more time to mature.

Lighter color. Looks like cherry juice. Lovely simple flavor. Juicy and fairly full. Cranberry and nice apples. Not too interesting in the end. Hint thin.

Less good as the 2015

Deadly Chianti

Decent cheap Chianti. Has simple balanced cherry-berry flavors and a fresh snappy finish. But it’s a bit thin and there isn’t a whole lot of depth. It’s good. It’s just not distinct nor very special.

Ok. Very drinkable but the flavors a flat and not distinguishable.

Prune, leather, and sagebrush nose. With elderberries. Flavor is tight and kinda thin. Some bubble gum to go with the cherry syrup and licorice. Bit of tannin, but fairly soft. A passable chianti. Nothing to write home about...
