2008 vintage Needs a little time. Tannins were firm. Fruit was present and if decanted might open up. Black current and dark berries. Dried herbs. Will be great in a few years!

Red berries linger on the front of my palate, but earthy, dark fruits persist. The finish ends abruptly with peppery spices. A delicious chocolaty chalkiness, compliments the brambly acidity, that makes this wine so simply approachable.
