Zinny says this tastes like me! Fruit fruit fruit. Nothing but Zin fruit. But not too jammy. Smooth, balanced. Not complex. Should probably be chilled a bit. The ultimate early summer burgers-on-the-grill wine. (Wish I actually HAD grilled some burgers for this.)

Fairly well balanced. Baked cherry pie, raspberry, blackberry, a bit of that bramble and spice you'd expect. Good acidity, body is lighter than I was hoping for, but overall quite nice.

Enjoyable, restrained style. Nothing jammy, nothing complex… all one could want for under $20. A bit of heat, which was expected at 14.5 but no complaints.

Similar but not as impressive as the ‘16 - acidity out of whack, more jammy & fruit driven. This either needs time or is just an off-vintage. I mean, it’s not bad - it actually tasted like a barrel sample.
