2013 vintage. Florence vineyard, Dry Creek Valley AVA. Powerful and dense, spices and black fruit, bold but rather elegant for the grape variety. Long spicy finish. Abv. 14,3%

Sweet plum start, a spicy climax, and an earthy finish. Very complex set of flavors. Dare I say it could open up even more to allow each phase to last a tad longer. But overall, excellent wine!

Very concentrated black fruit yet fresh with a hint of earthy mineral and spice. Very good. Enjoyed 2009 vintage on 5-27-16
