Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Still kicking solid! Beautiful and engaging nose. Wonderfully aged characteristics with some nice primary fruit qualities still evident. Really enjoyable.

Another nice 1980 Cabernet from the Fay Vineyard. Elegant with nice cherry fruit. Opened up nicely after 10-15 minutes. Drinking well now. Drink over next year or two

The 1980 Carneros Creek Cabernet Sauvignon from the Truchard Vineyard located in the Carneros is drinking beautifully! Great depth of cherry and cassis in the nose. Packed with fruit on the palate. Long fruit finish with firm tannins. Drinks well now but will hold for another 5+ years. Great wine!
