Blueberry/overripe black plum/extracted black fruit w lots of baking spices. Green bell pepper, tomato vine and mossy ground. Typical vegetal carmenere but not so bad with a doner kebab!

Wow, I wish I had bought more of this one! I’m getting juniper and ripe black cherries, cedar, tea leaves, blueberries. Really good for whatever I paid for it three years ago... no more than $10 I’m sure.

Palate is fine but the nose has a bit too much alcohol (covering up some nice cassis and cocoa notes)? Not sure it’s vegetal!

Just came back from Chile and had this wine at Calivino in Orange .CA with Rinny and Ethel. It's been hotter than hell in the OC so asked them to chill a bit. I think a $30 bottle. Paid 43... 2012

Juicy, fruity and medium body. Fairly nice wine to accompany a rainy evening supper with sirloin steak.
