Reserva Premier 1850 Carménère

Very surprising wine. Full bodied, notable tannins of plum, currants, cherries and vanilla. Rounded finish. Paired nicely a chicken, sun dried tomato leek dish.

Mellow

Aroma is strongly peppery, fruity and acidic. Flavour is fruity, dark berries, peppery, astringent. Needs oxygenation. A bit more sour than expected.

Typical Carménère from Chile. Herbal nose and somewhat harsh tannins at end. Enjoyable for the price tag

Good notes of fruit, a hint of tobacco & usual with Carménère, suave.

Had it with rack of lamb. Quite nice got better as it sat in my glass.

Rare Chardonnay que j'aime bien.

Very nice full body deep colour, nice on the nose, good all over taste finishing with a mild hint of tannins.

Only a year old and tastes a little rough around the edges, but not without character. Full and flavourful, dominated by tart stem and earth on the front, blackberry, heat, and high tannins on the back. Good deal at $15
