I was blown away by this! From 115 year old vines planted at high elevation in red slate. Concentrated fruit with a strong mineral backbone. At 9% ABV, this Kabinett has a tad more RS than most, but the cutting acidity balances it perfectly. Superb! 2017 vintage on April 30, 2019

Nice semi sweet, par dry but very in my zone

Wow - superb concentration here. Quite thick and sweet on he attack with citrus and flowers, but searing - and I do mean searing - acidity and grip on the back end. Needs time for the two elements to meld together into a more harmonious whole, but this is a lot of wine for $21.
