Limited Production Escolle Vineyard Rosé of Pinot Noir

This is real tasty stuff. Super small production Pinot Noir rose from the Santa Lucia Highlands. Got to try these guys at a tasting event and fell in love - they also make method champenoise vintage bubbly.. killer stuff.

Super bright nose with loads of strawberry, watermelon, and kool-aid-like aromas. Delicious richness and zingy acidity. Lots of character. Just a freaking enjoyable bottle. Worth seeking out all summer long no matter where you are. Oh, and 500ml packaging is cool.

500ml. I may need the missing 250ml. Impressive. Balanced in its rich acidic strawberry watermelon deliciousness. #RoséAllDay #SummerOfRosé

Caraccioli Rose of Pinot 2014. Bottled only in 500mls. Delicious!

Held off on opening this one for almost a year, as it has always seemed like an ageworthy rosé though I'd never tested that idea. Happy to report that the red fruit is a touch richer, but otherwise it's unchanged. Racey acidity, sandy minerality, could easily go another 2yrs and start to get more nutty and curious. 🍉🌿🐚

Best wine of the night absolutely delicious

So happy we were able to taste & purchase this delicious Rosé of Pinot Noir. Perfect summer beverage.

Tart plum, underripe peach, cooked strawberry, quince, mandarin orange, lemon, hints of white pepper, with a prominent mineral backbone. So much going on with a wide flavor profile. Medium minus alcohol and high acid.

Magnum for Mom. Rose petals, macerated strawberries and ruby grapefruit. Long and energizing.
