Second bottle, just as nice as the first. Super well balanced, light and fresh. Should probably hold off on opening anymore, see how it develops. I just have a hard time keeping the cork in bottles lately. Nowhere to go, might as well drink right? 🥴

Jun 17th, 2020From several different clones in a 14 row block atop Escolle vineyard. Restrained, still-developing nose of red fruit, mushroom and a faint hint of sea spray. More rich on the palate, finishing with lively acidity. Going to develop beautifully. Excellent balance at 13.3%.

Smokey dark red cherry, menthol, eucalyptus, cooked mushrooms, and barnyard funk on the nose. The palate presents dark cherry, cinnamon, clove, cooked strawberry, rhubarb, fresh strawberry, cranberry, and minerals. Low tannins, medium alcohol, high acid, and long finish. Excellent SLH.
