What a deep and intense amaro. It paired wonderfully with high-cacao chocolate with coffee beans, which is far from an easy feat.

Yowza. Bitter alpine, straight up dry not a lick of sweetness but still viscous. Most savory amaro ever.

There's something horribly masochistic about the appeal in this Amaro. Insanely bitter. Its smokey/herbal bite grows on you though.

This is from the tradition of drinking it as an actual medicine. In Italy this is sold in pharmacies, and only digested to have a teaspoon worth mixed with warm water.
