Terrific 2006 Barolo. Softened over 2hrs. Very traditional notes. Enjoyed tremendously.

2006 vintage. Medium ruby hue. Nose is off the charts - slight metallic, dark plum, roses and violets, sultana, coffee lift, licorice. With air, fennel and tangerine. On the palate, wow. Huge acidity, medium body, high tannin - softened with time in glass. Medium plus alcohol. Great length and complexity. Drink now until 2027.
