Capolino Perlingieri
Preta Falanghina
The 2021 Falanghina del Sannio Preta is pretty and delicate in the glass. It wafts up with peach and dusty yellow floral aromas. This is pure and energetic, with bright acidity elevating crisp orchard fruits. Its minerality blends with a salty mineral flourish that comes through on the finish. $22.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, August 2023)

Palate texture is round and weighty with fruit concentrate but focused and buoyed by fresh acidity. Wonderful balance and harmony. Pair with prawns or just about any other seafood item with firm texture.
