The 2021 Falanghina del Sannio Preta is pretty and delicate in the glass. It wafts up with peach and dusty yellow floral aromas. This is pure and energetic, with bright acidity elevating crisp orchard fruits. Its minerality blends with a salty mineral flourish that comes through on the finish. $22.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, August 2023)

Beautiful Falanghina. Fresh citrus-tinged pine tree aromas, soft peach and pomaceous fruit on the mid palate and resinous, savory almond flavors on the finish. Palate texture is round and weighty with fruit concentrate but focused and buoyed by fresh acidity. Wonderful balance and harmony. Pair with prawns or just about any other seafood item with firm texture.

Bright and floral with peach, overripe pear, crushed flowers, lemon, and an herbal/mossy undertone. Medium acid, 13.5% alcohol, medium finish with some light mineral notes, sea salt and lemon curd. Yum.
