Mulberry, some nice new oak as well, soft tannins, nice balance, medium-long finish, very fine Shiraz from Mt. Barker area!! (2019 Decanter Asia Wine Awards “Best in Show”, 97 points!!)

Jun 15th, 2025This has lovely Shiraz fruit that shows redfruits and an all-spice note as well, unlike my previous note from just last year, this now seems mature or very close to it, quite long finish, from fruit grown in a single vineyard near Mt. Barker in the Great Southern region of Western Australia!!

Lots of brown molasses on the nose.
A big brown nose, riding on purple. Floral, candy like pastilles.
Rhubarb? But deeper.
It certainly isn’t a 💣.Thank goodness. Herbaceous, even.
More delicate.
