I'm really glad I bought this bottle as I haven't have this as a single varietal before. Really light garnet color here that I found intriguing. A red fruit and funk nose. On the palate, the red fruit is lovely, but this is also smoky and bacony. A great white pepper finish as well... I love this!

May 30th, 2020Light in color, reminds me of the color of a poppy field. Beautiful acidity up front, red berries at the end with a good amount of tannin. Lovely with kedgeree, and would be great with any light fish dish, pork, or eggplant. Can’t wait to drink again - especially with the sun shining down outside!
