Another bottle of this. Also Non-Vintage, but I’ve had around about a year or two. Lovely dark color. Smells dense and wine-y. Hint of fresh cut branches in a wood chipper and damp loamy soil. Flavors are dry, savory and interesting. Slightest bit of tamari soy sauce or Worcestershire to match the berries and musky chocolate-y stuff. This isn’t probably a Cab for the standard CA Cab crowd, but it’s strangeness is intriguing and unique.

Jam and plum on the nose. Plenty of spice and woodsy stuff too. Flavor is kinda nutty with a cherry liquor or cordial element. Definite licorice too. Red and black. Full bodied but very, very dry. A unique style of Cab. One I appreciate and enjoy as well.
