red fruit, earth, mushrooms, medium tannins, mild oxidation for 14 yrs of age. The acid is pretty rippin. Could go another 10yrs easily. Not complex, but still a very enjoyable.

What a great bottle of Brunello, perfect shape with just the right amount of age and a great vintage combine for a silky texture and loads of impact on the pallet, nice acidity gives it that sour cherry quality I love. Perfect with a takeout Greek lamb wrap as we flea the wildfires in Sonoma and raid our host’s cellar.
