What a great bottle of Brunello, perfect shape with just the right amount of age and a great vintage combine for a silky texture and loads of impact on the pallet, nice acidity gives it that sour cherry quality I love. Perfect with a takeout Greek lamb wrap as we flea the wildfires in Sonoma and raid our host’s cellar.

Had the 2007 vintage in December 2018. This was the most smooth, well balanced, flavorful brunello I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking. Definitely a food wine - it was perfect with my ribeye.
