Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.

Simple nose of plums, cherries, wood, cloves, light vegetables and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with blueberries, plums, currants, oak, vanilla, cloves, smoke, dark coffee, bitter vegetables and peppercorn.

Short finish with soft tannins and tart raspberries.

This simple California Cabernet is drinkable, but nothing special. Unbalanced, but good enough as a happy hour wine. Nothing more.

Good right out of the bottle. Had it from a magnum (doesn't really matter here).

I paired it with beef sliders.

13% alcohol by volume.

80 points.

$7.

First impression was overripe-plum-dominated, but mellowed and opened up big on night 2. Leather, currant, little chocolate, and still some ripe plum and wood. Low-mid tannins that linger for a bit. $16

Wonderful restaurant wine. Black berry, raspberry, chocolate ... oaky, minimally dry. Very light for a cab. Dark color but only 13%. 10 dollars!!!!!
