A touch aromatic perhaps, granny smith apple, sage, thyme, iodine.
Not elegant maybe, but definitely enjoyable

2014 vintage. Low alcohol (12,5 % abv) blend of guarnaccia (Grenache blanc) and Mantonico . Amazing confidential wine from Calabria, drinking beautifully at 6 years old, but I feel this will continue to shine for a few more years. Flowery nose with a hint of honey. Bright ripe apricot fruit, fresh acidity, subtle and complex, very far from the heavy southern wine cliché. This has been beautiful from the beginning, but I am glad I have let a few bottles age. Highly recommended if you can find it.
