A rich garnet color in the glass. Starts off with varietally correct nose of stewed plums and bright cherries. There's a spiciness throughout the palate that reminds you you're in Italy. Nice flavors of cranberries, black cherries, and a touch of oak. Old cigar smoke and more spice on the finish. A perfectly pleasant everyday drinker.

Out of a magnum bottle. Black cherry and turned black earth. A smoky not lingers on the finish. This would be wonderful with BBQd or smoked meats.

Color is plum. Nose is a bit hot--well, the wine is cellar temp so who knows. On the palate the wine is mouthwatering, juicy. Notes of raisin, licorice, lots of great acidity. Yum
