Lovely, great balance of red and dark fruit, acidity, and moderate dusty tannins. Not pretentios, just right. 2013 vintage.

Simply delicious. :) Tuscany seems to have it all...exquisite wine, cuisine, a countryside to blissfully immerse in. It also seems with this purple-ruby Sangiovese that Tuscany has an answer to cherry Coca-Cola! :o Hiding behind the veil of this wine's soft raspberry nose is a palate bursting with cherry & spicy cola. A soft drink for grown ups with enough spice & acidic kick to balance its basket full of fruit. Long spicy cherry chocolate finish. Very easy drinking--this bottle is disappearing too fast! ;)
